Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of RVKeeper, a mobile app operated by Openroad Apps LLC, a company based in Portland, Oregon. By using RVKeeper, you agree to these terms.
The short version
RVKeeper helps you track maintenance for your RV. The maintenance recommendations in the app are informational, not authoritative. Always consult your manufacturer’s documentation for your specific RV. We’re not liable for damage or injury that results from following or not following the app’s recommendations. If you subscribe to Pro, billing happens through your app store. You can cancel anytime.

About the service
RVKeeper provides personalized maintenance planning for RV owners. The app generates maintenance schedules based on your RV’s make, model, year, and components. It includes reminders, task tracking, service logging, and educational content about RV maintenance.
What the service is not
RVKeeper is not a substitute for professional inspection, manufacturer service procedures, or your owner’s manual. The recommendations in the app are based on general industry guidance and manufacturer information available to us, but your specific RV may have different requirements. Always consult your manufacturer’s documentation for authoritative maintenance schedules.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By using RVKeeper, you represent that you meet this age requirement.
Account responsibilities
You’re responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us at rvkeeper-support@openroadapps.com.
You agree to provide accurate information about your RV during setup. The app’s recommendations depend on this information being correct.
Subscriptions
RVKeeper offers two tiers:
Essentials
Free forever. Includes maintenance tracking for five essential components and full access to the setup and customization features for those components.
Pro
Paid subscription. Includes everything in the Essentials plan, plus maintenance tracking for all components, customized maintenance plans, complete service history, and unlimited custom tasks. $5.99 / month or $49.99 / year.
Subscription billing
Pro subscriptions are billed through the App Store or Google Play, depending on where you subscribed. Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription anytime through your App Store or Google Play account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You’ll continue to have Pro access until then.
Refunds
Refunds are handled by the App Store and Google Play according to their policies. We don’t process refunds directly. If you have a dispute, contact Apple or Google support.
Pricing changes
If we change subscription pricing, we’ll notify you at least 30 days before the change takes effect. You can cancel before the change to avoid the new price.
Acceptable use
You agree to use RVKeeper only for personal RV maintenance tracking. You may not:
- Use the app for commercial fleet management without our written permission
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the app’s source code
- Use automated tools to scrape data from the app
- Submit false information intentionally
- Use the feedback feature to submit abusive, irrelevant, or harmful content
- Use the app in any way that violates applicable laws
User-submitted content
When you submit feedback or service log entries, you grant us a non-exclusive license to use that content to improve the app. We may incorporate accepted feedback into the app’s content library. We don’t claim ownership of your service log entries; that data remains yours.
You’re responsible for the accuracy of information you submit. Don’t submit content that infringes anyone’s rights or violates the law.
Disclaimers
RVKeeper is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don’t guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that maintenance recommendations will perfectly match your RV’s needs.
The maintenance recommendations in the app are informational. They’re based on general manufacturer and industry guidance available to us, but your specific RV may have different requirements. We strongly encourage you to consult your owner’s manual and manufacturer’s service documentation for authoritative schedules. For safety-critical components like brakes, tires, propane systems, and electrical systems, professional inspection is recommended.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Openroad Apps LLC and its officers, employees, and contractors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of RVKeeper. This includes but is not limited to damage to your RV, personal injury, financial loss, or loss of data.
Our total liability to you for any claim related to RVKeeper is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or $50, whichever is greater.
Some jurisdictions don’t allow these limitations, so they may not fully apply to you.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Openroad Apps LLC from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these terms or your misuse of the app.
Termination
You can stop using RVKeeper anytime by deleting your account. Email rvkeeper-support@openroadapps.com to request deletion.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms. We’ll provide notice when reasonable. If we terminate your account, we’ll delete your data within 30 days.
Sections that should reasonably survive termination (like limitation of liability and dispute resolution) will continue to apply.
Changes to these terms
If we make significant changes to these terms, we’ll notify you in the app or by email at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of RVKeeper after the changes take effect means you accept the new terms.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
Informal resolution
If you have a dispute with us, please contact us at rvkeeper-support@openroadapps.com first. We’ll try to resolve disputes informally before any formal proceeding.
Arbitration
Any dispute that can’t be resolved informally will be resolved by binding arbitration in Multnomah County, Oregon, conducted by JAMS under its Streamlined Arbitration Rules. You waive the right to a jury trial and the right to participate in a class action.
Exceptions
Either party may bring claims in small claims court if they qualify. Either party may seek injunctive relief in court for intellectual property disputes.
Severability
If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest of the terms will continue to apply.
